0.9-158 - 2025/03/12

Release notes for 0.9-158

ASB/KD (see se_help kd and se_help asb for full list)

kd enable/disable/0/1/y/n - default ON - KD monitoring, .asb command works, NO hit modifications

asb enable/disable - default OFF - enable actual hit/miss

asb_public enable/disable - make announcements public

asb_misses enable/disable - enable/disable miss stats for each missed hit (only to SERVER ADMINS)

Some anticheat setting commands have been shortened (see se_help ac_ for full list):

One command used recently is for setting wall fire angle, and the command has been shortened:

ac_wf_angle <angle>

Smooth bot detection:

ac_smooth_steps <steps> - default 20 - how many steps in a smooth motion. Set to a high number to stop entirely.

ac_smooth_range <percentage> - default .05 - A smooth motion "step" within 5% of the previous "step" is a "smooth motion".

These might need to be tuned, I'm able to set it off when I'm trying to make it happen.

Chat vs. console output - global setting has existed for years, using it in HALONET servers. se_client_console enable/disable (default is enabled)

USERS CAN NOW CHANGE THIS INDIVIDUALLY:

.chat 0/1 - Sets output to chat - if set to 0/n/disable, HSE console output goes to console. set to 1, goes to chat.

.console 0/1 - opposite of .chat command. .console 0 sends it to chat. .console 1 sends it to console.

NOTE: RCON command output from HSE® will ALSO be sent to chat.

IF LOGGED INTO HNET:

This value will persist, and be set each time you login to HNET.

TEAM CHANGE ON DEATH:

Almost all team changes are now on-death, or within one minute (tunable with the tcod_max_wait command available in the next build)

.team <player spec|pattern> - normal timed TCoD

.tf <player spec|pattern> - force team switch NOW

.tb - team balance, using pings and KD ratios to level the playing field - changed to TCoD
