Which release of HAC2 are you running?

Go to My Games->HAC2 - you can find this by typing "my games" into the Windows search bar. Edit the file HAC2.ini

The release is set to "stable" by default.

Setting the release

Currently (2026), there are 3 releases, alpha, beta and stable.

The loader, halonet_addons.dll, checks for updates and will download newly available updates automatically.
